We’re also the place to rest your head when you’re away from home. Guided by our heart and what we value. most: family, community and connection we committed to giving back to the community that supports us.
Our family have always had a strong involvement in sport and the community, and THE COMMODORE is often approached for sponsorship or donations, which, where we can, we love to take the opportunity to support.

Food For Good
At THE COMMODORE, family and community are why we do what we do, and it’s why we are steadily forging ahead with the same commitment to giving back, and to delivering exceptional dining experiences for everyone, and we have done now for more than 37 years.
With the launch of our new seasonal menu, we’re also proud to launch a new community-focused initiative that will see us donate $1 to a selected local foundation or charity for very serve of our house-baked focaccia ordered.
To begin, and looking locally, we’ll be proudly supporting Foodbank Mount Gambier for our first donation recipient. Foodbank are Australia’s largest food relief organisation, and for every $1, Foodbank provides two meals for everyday people who are going without. With a Foodbank Hub right here in Mount Gambier, we’re proud that our donation, with your help, will remain in our community.
